My name is Ulyana and I am a teacher of TM-July. Our workshop gives young creators the opportunity to reveal their potential 100% percent and even more. We improve the strengths of students and help with difficulties.
Each student receives maximum support in their endeavors. Teachers help children understand how to apply this knowledge in lessons in real life. Personally, as a teacher of decorative and applied arts, I see only one goal in classes with a child - to convey as much knowledge as possible. I try to make the child always feel free and easy in class. An important point for me is the atmosphere in the classes, and I also take into account the wishes of the student.

It is easy and pleasant to communicate with the teacher, it is easy to make graphs, find a common language with other students and confidently move forward. I have been in the workshop since I was 11, and since then it has become a significant part of my life. The classes are comfortable for me, which is also inextricably linked to the workshop, and over the years I have grown a lot not only in my abilities, but also in some aspects of my character. I would like more people to get acquainted with this, and I am personally ready to help in this.
It's always both practical classes and conversations about what we do. Many different opinions, but a common cause and a path that we go through together - each in their own way, acquiring new skills and knowledge along the way.
I think that the main value of the education that the workshop gives is that you go through this path yourself. They don’t try to make you a professional in someone else’s opinion, they help you find yours. I would even say that it is therapeutic in many ways. You begin to study yourself, your interests, your preferences.
You try different techniques, you understand which colors are close to you and which are not. Which strokes, hatching, methods of expression resonate. In the process of studying, I learned to feel myself very well, to understand where I want to move, how I want to develop and what I really want in the future.
It is very important that there is room for mistakes in the workshop. Today, when the world is becoming faster and faster and there is so much haste around, the opportunity to stop and make mistakes is invaluable. After all, it is through mistakes that understanding comes: you begin to notice how the form is structured, why something does not work and how to fix it. So gradually, along with the skill, a feeling is born. This requires time, patience, and not everyone is ready to accept this today. But this is precisely, I think, the great value of such training, when you go at your own pace, aware of every step.
As a teacher, I strive to teach academic drawing exactly the way I once went through it myself. Through trial, error, and small overcomings, to help people build their understanding of the subject-spatial environment. Of course, this also includes formal composition as a system through which a sense of form, color, and balance develops. And it is in this system that individuality is gradually born.
